Thousands of bills get filed in a legislative session. Almost none of them will matter to you. The point of your feed is to narrow that down.

Your feed

The home screen shows bills from your state's current session. It's the main place you'll browse.

Follow subjects

Bills are tagged with subjects — the topic areas they deal with. You'll see these as tags on the home screen and on each bill.

Tap a subject to start following it. Tap it again to stop. That's the whole interaction.

Pick a handful to start with. Two or three subjects you genuinely care about will serve you better than following everything.

Recommendations

As you mark bills you support or oppose, we use those signals to surface other bills that are similar. The more you weigh in, the more your recommendations reflect what you actually care about.

If you mark a bill as undecided, that won't feed into your recommendations — it's just a note to yourself.

A note on what you'll see

Your feed isn't filtered by party or ideology. Following a subject means you'll see bills on that subject from every direction, including ones you'll disagree with. That's deliberate.
